The chicken shawarma was excellent. Every piece of chicken was edible no fatty or brown pieces . The bulgar was nice and al dente. hummus was above average . Job well done
We recently dined at Olive Tree in Milford, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, though the space is quite small, making it more ideal for takeout. The menu offers a delightful selection of Mediterranean dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. I highly recommend the falafel ... they were absolutely delicious. We also tried the lamb shawarma sandwich, rice platter with lamb shawarma and the combo rice platter ... all of which were delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. I will definitely be returning to Olive Tree and encourage anyone looking for a fantastic meal to give it a try!
I've been eating their food for years. As a vegan I appreciate all the options. I particularly love their store-made hummus. But if you go there sometime when they're not too busy, see if you can coax them to make you some ful medames (fava beans). It's fabulous. (See the photo). The folks are very friendly.
Excellent food- got the lamb shawarma gyro wrap, hummus and Syrian salad. Very fresh, full of flavor. Best hummus I've ever had. Will definitely come back!
If you haven't been here yet you need to go because the quality is exceptional and there's not a bad item on the menu! Flavor, mouth feel, texture, seasonings all right on point. Service is exceptional very friendly.
It is a fantastic place as far as the food us concerned. The food is truly Mediterranean with a subtle Syrian twist. It is super tasty and I could have it any day of the week. They did not have lamb the day we were there but their chicken was awesome. Their hummus was freshly made. The place is a cafe style: you buy your food over the counter, pick it up and then sit a table of your choosing. They have a few tables available. I would say that this place us great for a quick bite or a take out but not a formal occasion.
My wife and I had the chicken shawarma and the hummus platter with lamb. Absolutely phenomenal.
